innovation and recuperation

1. innovation

"innovation" requires human input. It takes the viewer's mouse movements and creates a shifting and constantly changing visual trail. Although the basic underlying process is always the same, this pattern is always different, and created entirely by the viewer's interactions.

2. recuperation

"recuperation" can be viewed either with or without human input. The same algorithmic process from "innovation" is used, but the viewer's input is combined with automatically generated movement, and a constantly changing, randomly selected colour palette, which either enhances or devalues the human interaction.
